GeN'xt Ministries: Empowering Communities

Recognizing that the basic struggle for independence and control between the younger and older generations could be counter to the unity needed for continuity, GeN'xt A.C.T.S.  has been focused on collaboration.  Our goal is serve as the example in this area and show that it takes all of us working in tandem to make a difference.  We need each other, everyone matters, our children, our young adults, and middle aged as well as older individuals.   Everyone has something of value to bring to the table.  The older generations can reach back to the younger generations and present wisdom and opportunities, and the younger generations can reach forward and provide alternate perspectives, fresh ideas and technological support.   We have taken on the challenge of building the relationships required to sustain our basic institutions. Continuity involves an unselfish approach to investing in future generations while preparing them to receive the baton of leadership.  

Community engagement is one of the strengths of the GeN'xt! ministry.  Our goal is to engage community members through a number of initiatives such as youth engagement and environmental elevation.  Taking it a step further, intentional outreach events that focus on bringing community members together will be routinely planned.  This includes, but is not limited to community fun days, visits to local schools, and informational workshops surrounding all of our initiatives.

GeN’xt! A.C.T.S. understands the benefits of having an entrepreneurial vision as it relates to building strong communities.  We will be intentional about promoting, supporting and partnering with African American owned business that share our values.
