GeN'xt! Ministries: Empowering Communities
GeN’xt! Ministries Inc. is a community non-profit in the state of Maryland. It was formed in response to the need for African Americans to once again lead their families, faith institutions and communities as a whole. That doesn’t happen overnight but over time with careful and strategic planning, organizing and mobilizing of the younger generations. The vision and goal of this organization is the mobilization of individuals who see themselves as leaders - in their families, in their social groups, or in their or communities - to lend their talents and other abilities to community elevation projects. Failure to organize and mobilize will result in the loss of control of our anchoring institutions, namely, families, churches, schools, and government. In order for institutions to be successful the next generation has to become a part of the fabric. Their elevation is key to continuity within all institutions beginning with the first and foundational institution called the FAMILY. What is the community? It's a collection of families.
